Dancing In The Parting Glass is a song I personally composed and is the actual true events of the night I met Liz, my wife to be for the first time.
That night, 4th June 1994, I was only into my 8th month of sobriety.I purchased the old ford fiesta car for £300. I was after coming off a three and a half year bender in which I blew £90,000 and the old multi coloured car was all I could afford.
Liz being a Pioneer all her life would have a huge influence on my circumstances as we started out on our journey together.
